Red Lodge Longhouse is a program of shamanic spiritual studies for anyone dedicated to bring balance in their emotions, physical body, mind, spirit and sexual life force energy.
Knowledge is conveyed through Medicine Wheels which deal with teachings and practices, not with creeds or dogma. One of our principles is to not believe anything that is taught: the value of the teachings and practices is found when applying this knowledge to one's life experience.
We are all aware of the accelerated pace of living, many of us know the uneasiness, the compulsion to do something, to make the difference for ourselves and for this planet. We know this is the time to live with more balance and alignment with Spirit and with our heart's desires.
The knowledge shared at Red Lodge helps us in reconnecting to Grandmother Earth, in bringing into balance our female and male energies, in erasing dogma and ignorance from our life: it's only through ignorance that we give away our freedom. The intent of these teachings is to promote freedom, autonomy and individuality.
Red Lodge is a four-year course of study . The first two years of the program are open to everyone. Graduates from the first two years who wish to continue may attend the additional two years as apprentices. Students commit to one year at a time.
Each year consists of five weekend sessions (Thursday evening to Sunday afternoon) and Ceremonial Week in nature to integrate the acquired knowledge during the previous five sessions. Each session includes theoretical teachings, physical practices to increase own energy, community ceremonies and shamanic purification lodges. Red Lodge Longhouse program is available in Canada and in the United States: the italian program is the only one in Europe.
Teachings are given both in English and Italian with simultaneous translation.
It is possible to join the program until November 2010 unit included.
